Privacy Policy

Spendlet Budget is designed as a local-first expense tracker. It does not require an online account or a bank connection.

Information you enter

Expense records, income records, categories, budgets, notes, and related information you enter are stored by the app on your device. We do not operate an online account database containing your ledger.

Optional capture features

If you choose to use voice or screenshot capture, the content you provide is processed to create a suggested expense record. Depending on the feature and device capabilities, processing may take place on your device or through a service used to provide the requested feature.

Capture results are presented for your review and can be edited before being saved. These optional features are not required for manual expense tracking.

Data export and sharing

You can export your records as a CSV file. Exporting or sharing a file is initiated by you, and you control where that file is saved or sent.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your full payment card information. Apple may provide purchase status information needed to unlock paid features.

Support communications

If you contact us for support, we receive the email address and information you choose to include in your message. This information is used only to respond to your request.

Data control

You can edit or delete records within the app. Removing the app from your device also removes locally stored app data, subject to any device backups or exported files you control.

Sale of personal information

We do not sell your personal information or use your expense records for advertising.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the app or its data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly.
